Opening times

During school term (38 weeks of the year), the service will be open from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM & from 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM.

During mid terms and summer holidays, the service will be open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Please note: We will also cater for the earlier start times for our infant classes at the beginning of the school term each year.

Fees

At The Purple Bell, we aim to offer accessible, high-quality care that works for busy families,
while recognising the real value of school-age childcare.

Term Time (38 Weeks Per Year):

During the school term (38 weeks per year), fees will be as follows:

All term time fees include breakfast (cereal options) and an afternoon snack (fresh fruit and crackers etc)

Non Term Time (Mid-terms and Summer Holidays):

During the midterm breaks and summer holidays, breakfast and an afternoon snack are included in the fees also.
Children are welcome to bring their own meals to be reheated during mid-term breaks and summer holidays only.
All of our staff are HACCP-trained, and all food is handled with the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Enrolment Requirements:

A minimum of two days per week is required for all enrolments.

Fees are applicable for the full 38 weeks of the school term and remain payable regardless of absences.

Midterm Breaks & Summer Holidays:

A minimum of two days per week will also be required for enrolment during midterms and summer holidays.

Transport Fees:

* please note, transport fees are an extra fee and the NCS subsidy can not be used against transport fees

Contract Options:

We offer Full-Time, Term-Time, and Non-Term-Time contracts.

These contracts are subject to availability.

Full-Time contracts secure a place for 51 weeks per year.

Closures:

We will close for one week during the Christmas period, and no fees will be charged for this week.

National Childcare Scheme (NCS)

We will also accept the National Childcare Scheme (NCS), which provides
government subsidies to help reduce the cost of childcare for families.

Depending on your household income and circumstances, you may be eligible for a
universal or income-assessed subsidy. These subsidies are paid directly to us
and deducted from your weekly bill.

Families are encouraged to apply early, as subsidies can only be applied once your award has been confirmed.
